Asset Management – Zeta HRMS

The Asset Management module helps track, allocate, and manage organizational assets efficiently, ensuring accountability and proper record-keeping.


1 Creating New Assets

  1. Navigate to Asset Management → Settings → Asset Master.

  2. Click New to create a new asset.

  3. Select the appropriate asset type and fill in the required details.

  4. Click Save to register the asset.

Proper asset creation ensures that all organizational resources are recorded and available for allocation.


2 Asset Functions

From Asset Management → Activities, HR or authorized users can manage all asset-related operations:

  1. Asset Issue – Allocate assets to employees.

  2. Asset Return – Record the return of assets from employees.

  3. Expense Entry – Enter and track expenses related to assets (repairs, maintenance, etc.).

  4. Asset Transfer – Transfer assets from one employee to another when required.

These functions help maintain accurate records of asset usage and responsibility.


3 Asset Reports

  1. Track asset information using the Activities screen under various tabs (Issued, Returned, Expenses, etc.).

  2. Generate detailed asset reports from the Reports section for auditing, tracking, or management purposes.

Reports provide a comprehensive view of assets, allocations, and financial impact related to asset management.
