This guide outlines the step-by-step process for managing employee leave, including annual leave, other leave types, approvals, cancellations, adjustments, and compensatory (lieu) days.

Annual Leave Entries (HR-Side Entry)

  1. Navigate to Leave Management → Activities → Annual Leave Entry.

  1. Navigate to Leave Management → Activities → Other Leave Entry.

  2. Enter the required leave information.

  3. Click Save to record the entries.

HR can manage leave types such as sick leave, unpaid leave, or special leave using this method.

Approve or Reject Leave Requests

  1. Navigate to Leave Management → Activities → Approve/Reject Leave.

  2. Review all submitted leave requests from both employees and HR entries.

  3. Approve or reject leave requests as required.

This screen provides a consolidated view of all leave applications for easy tracking and management.

Cancel Approved Leave

  1. Navigate to Leave Management → Activities → Cancel Leave.

  2. Select the leave to be canceled.

  3. Confirm cancellation to revoke the approved leave.

Use this feature when approved leave needs to be reverted.

Leave Balance Adjustment

  2. Select the employee(s) whose leave balance needs adjustment.

  3. Enter the required changes (increase or decrease leave balance).

  4. Save the changes.

This allows HR to maintain accurate leave balances in case of corrections or accrual adjustments.

Lieu Days (Compensatory Off) Entry

  1. Navigate to Leave Management → Activities → Lieu Days Entry.

  2. Enter details of compensatory off / lieu days for employees.

  3. Save the entry.

  4. After marking lieu days, submit the compensatory off using the Other Leave Entry screen.

This ensures that compensatory off is properly recorded and linked to the employee’s leave balance.

Outcome: Following these procedures ensures accurate leave tracking, proper approvals, and updated leave balances for all employees.
